At the Pipe Trades Family Health & Wellness Center the ultimate mission is to improve the health & lives of their members! The current medical delivery system is not based on value or outcomes but generally on how many procedures are performed. It is focused on treating patients after they become sick. They are looking to provide convenient access to care with an emphasis on prevention as well as health & wellness. They will also be focused on early detection, the treatment of chronic conditions and promoting health awareness, while keeping members and their families engaged in a healthy relationship with a caring and supportive staff. No copays, no deductible, limited paperwork and extended visits with a physician who is committed to support each and every member as they rediscover their health! Services at the Pipe Trades Family Health & Wellness Center is available to all active members, spouses and dependent children that are eligible for coverage under the PTSMN Welfare Fund are able to use the wellness centers. In addition pre-Medicare retirees, spouses and dependent children can also use the wellness centers. The health & wellness centers are not available to members covered by Medicare or to treat workers compensation claims, auto accident or other third party medical claims.

Theresa Voss

Theresa Voss, M.A., L.P. – Coach Therapist

Theresa is a licensed psychologist with almost 25 years of private practice experience. Areas of interest for Theresa include mental illness, developmental disabilities, behavioral disorders, trauma, life/work stress, and cross-cultural counseling. Theresa believes that the therapist/patient relationship is a partnership and employs a mixture of CBT, person-centered, and solution-oriented therapies to assist in achieving shared goals. She has become a true believer that attention to holistic wellness is essential to one’s mental health and is excited to be able to offer the Praestan Health and Wellness platform to her patients. In her free time, Theresa likes to read, dance (Cuban rueda salsa), attend theater/concerts, travel, and spend time with friends and family.

Lauren Lach

Lauren Lach – Patient Support Specialist

Lauren graduated from Concordia University Saint Paul in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She has previous experience as a volunteer phone counselor at Crisis Connection. As a Patient Support Specialist, Lauren coordinates patient care and provides support to patients at Pipe Trade Services Family Health and Wellness Centers. Lauren is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services at Saint Mary’s University. She enjoys creative writing and going to Valleyfair with family and friends.

Jill Hubble

Jill Hubble, LPCC, LADC – Program Manager

Jill Hubble has worked with individuals and families who have experienced a wide variety of mental health concerns and co-occurring substance use disorders. She has worked in hospital inpatient, residential, outpatient, and school-based settings as well as private practice. Jill is also a Counselor Educator and public speaker focusing on Trauma Informed Care and treating Co-Occurring Disorders in adolescents and adults. Jill works from a harm reduction holistic approach that addresses each patient’s unique needs. She is passionate about creating a trauma informed, safe, person-centered space for individuals and families to work through life struggles. Her areas of expertise are in the treatment of trauma, co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, education, and collaboration with other providers. Jill enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as traveling, and photography.

Elena Geiger-Simpson

Elena Geiger-Simpson, DNP, APRN, CNP, PMHNP-BC – Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Elena Geiger-Simpson received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Minnesota in 2017. Additionally, she received a Graduate Certificate in Integrative Therapies and Healing Practices from the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining Praesten Health, she worked in a variety of community mental health settings. Dr. Geiger-Simpson also works as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. She is passionate about providing a person-centered, strengths-based approach while working alongside her patients as they strive towards achieving their optimal wellbeing. Dr. Geiger-Simpson integrates a variety of approaches to healing including medication, mind/body connection, cognitive behavioral techniques, nutrition, and movement. Dr. Geiger-Simpson spends her free time enjoying hiking with her dog, spending time in nature, biking around the Twin Cities, and having potlucks with friends and family.
